Maddy's New Home

Derek brought her to the living room where he set her down on the cream colored sofa. She fell in love with it when she felt how soft and plush it was. He moved the pillow under her head and put a brown knit blanket over her legs. She was lying on her back and although she was incredibly comfortable, she didn’t want to sleep. She wanted to look around and see the place she would be inhabiting for the next few months. She didn’t want to waste anytime.
